Tutti Percussion (50%)

The North Netherlands Orchestra (NNO) is the symphony orchestra of the three northern provinces. With over 150 years of history and a broad, innovative programme, we reach a large and diverse audience. From our home base in Groningen, we give more than a hundred concerts a year in the provinces of Drenthe, Fryslân and Groningen, and beyond.

Our mission: to open up new horizons for all northerners by bringing live music that touches and inspires. The NNO is a crucial catalyst for the cultural ecosystem in the region, an orchestra that effortlessly combines tradition and innovation. With a rich offering – from “classical” to groundbreaking crossover concerts to music education projects and research in the field of Arts & Technology – we reach audiences of all generations, in collaboration with many regional and national partners.

Eivind Gullberg Jensen is chief conductor and Hartmut Haenchen and Kerem Hassan are permanent guest conductors. Antony Hermus is attached to the NNO as honorary conductor. The orchestra consists of about 70 musicians.

The NNO brings a diverse audience into contact with symphonic music and attaches significant importance to this. We therefore value diversity in the orchestral workplace. For more information, please visit www.nno.nu
